Next week is the Barron’s Top Advisory Teams Summit in Washington D.C., July 17-19. Like all of the Barron’s conferences for successful financial advisors, this looks to be chock-full with stimulating and notable speakers and presentations.
For example:
- Tony Hsieh, Zappo’s CEO, entrepreneur and author, will be talking about how he is creating a culture of values, innovation, participation, and productivity for Zappo’s and the city of Las Vegas.
- Gary Shapiro will be highlighting many of the points in his latest book: Ninja Innovation: The Ten Killer Strategies of the World’s Most Successful Companies.
- Dave Darst, Chief Investment Strategist for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management will be addressing asset allocation and investment strategy for the remainder of 2013 and beyond.
- In addition to many additional engaging presentations and breakout sessions conducted by top financial advisors, leaders of teams, and other top financial professionals.
I might add that ClientWise will be there as well. On July 19th, I will be leading the session, Benchmark Your Practice Against the Best in the Business, highlighting a ClientWise tool that allows successful financial advisory teams to benchmark their business against other top practices.
For those of you planning to attend this conference, I look forward to seeing you. For those of you who cannot attend, you might aim for future Barron's conferences. They are terrifically informative and beneficial on many levels.
