Margaret’s award-winning 40-year institutional financial services career as a VP of Sales for firms like TD Ameritrade and Schwab has equipped her with an understanding of the rigor and resilience required to achieve results. She started out her career selling retirement plans to corporations and, more recently, has focused on recruiting financial advisors to independence helping them start their own practice.
Margaret believes that the foundation of career success in the financial services industry is building relationships based on trust. She recognizes the importance of developing social and emotional intelligence skills, which are essential for building rapport, creating a repeatable sales process and maintaining continuous engagement when developing new business.
As a coach, Margaret supports her clients in tapping into their internal resources to identify their obstacles as well as their motivations, enabling them to achieve their objectives and greater fulfillment. She listens to her clients with curiosity, asking questions that help create a new perspective and untangle any limiting beliefs into small, actionable steps towards the outcomes they want to achieve. Clients have described her as kind and compassionate but also direct.
In her leisure time, Margaret enjoys skiing, Bikram Yoga and volunteering at her church’s spiritual formation program for children. She loves her role as an aunt and enjoys traveling to new places to learn about different cultures.
