Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Regardless of our individual struggles and obstacles, we all have so much to be thankful for. I'm Blessed beyond words and I thank all of you for making time to read our blogs and keep up with what's happening at ClientWise. I also wanted to give you a glimpse at how my family spends Thanksgiving, in hopes that it will get you thinking about your own traditions.
For those of you who know me, know I’m a runner. Tomorrow morning I'll be in Upper Saddle River, NJ continuing a family tradition that we started 13 years ago: running the Dick Meighan Memorial Run with my boys, my nieces and nephew. On Saturday I'll be running the Bedford Turkey Trot, which I’ve been doing for the past 8 years.
If you’re anything like me you’ll be looking for even more ways to balance out the biggest Thanksgiving tradition of all… eating. I thought you might find this Turkey Day workout a lot of fun: Your Turkey Day Workout. I've been eating more vegetables and fruits this year, inspired by a client of ours who owns a couple of Cross Fit gyms and got me into working out differently. You can be certain I'll be doing the "Cranberry Sauce", the "Turkey & Stuffing" and "The Pumpkin Pie" before eating the cranberry sauce, the turkey and stuffing, and the pumpkin pie.
Have a great Thanksgiving! May you enjoy this time with your family and friends and feel as Blessed as I do on this special American Holiday.
